Fancy new shop interior 💎
Do you remember last week’s devlog?
Each shop category had its own floor, but that looked a bit empty.
Luckily, the interior designers came up with a great idea:
Put shelves, a cash desk and items in the shops!
Now it makes more sense that moving in takes a month 📦
The build mode missed one vital thing for a running mall.
Without that, each customer just runs into a wall.
We are talking about doors! 🚪
You can move doors and set their rotation just by clicking on them.
The game won’t let you build something without a correct entrance!
Besides that, we made many small changes.
The build mode got great new icons for expanding or releasing tiles and placing the door.
You can now see the difference between a released lot (which can become a shop space, a toilet, a spaceport*, etc.) and an empty shop space (waiting for Below Average Joe to do his work).

We also fixed a lot of bugs (and probably introduced some new ones) 🐞
